The schooling system in the UK is superior and more advanced in nature as compared to other countries. In UK, you can find two categories of schools; one is state school and public school.

In both these schools, students can get best schooling by well qualified teachers. Every year, thousands of children are flocking to UK in order to take admission in a best school.

State schools are Govt. funded schools and children can study here at free of cost. These schools are run by state, central or regional Govt. The second one is the public school or an independent school. These schools is neither administered nor managed by any Govt. (state or central). Public or boarding schools are very popular and oldest schools in the UK. These schools are called independent schools as; these are funded by student's tuition fee or by a charitable trust.

The above public schools are managed by the public schools act 1868. Almost all schools are providing up to twelve standards. In the UK, children must attend school at the age of 5 to 16. There are three levels of schools like primary, secondary and high schools are available for all pupils. One can attend compulsory education up to the age of 16.

Most of the schools are offering various extra curricular activities like dance competition, debate and creative writing in order keep up their interest. The teaching hours of schools varies from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm including 45 minutes lunch time and few minutes for break time after every class.
