The Young Talent IT Scholarship from Dr. GB Scholarships Foundation

The Young Talent IT Scholarships from Dr.GB Scholarships Foundation were brought in India by a private association known as KG Information Systems Pvt. Ltd (KGISL). KGISL is an apparent service provider and consultant in the Information Technology sector.

This association has capability in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Call-Centre Operations and Medical Transcription. It aspires to offer young and talented minds in the information technology sector with sufficient financial assistance to facilitate them continue with further studies in related fields.

Eligibility

The aspirants who are currently studying to earn a BCA, BSc degree or other undergraduate courses in Computer Science and qualifying are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The candidates should have a good and constant academic background. The scholarship is approved only if the student is able to hand over a document stating that he has already been enrolled in an institute of repute for pursuing a course in IT.

Value of the Scholarship
The candidates are granted financial support of Rs 25, 000 under the Young Talent IT Scholarship scheme.

Selection Process

The candidates who are referred for the scholarships by their respective institutes are asked to appear for Primary Evaluation Program (PEP) to be held at the campus of the KGISL in Coimbatore. The candidates are tested for their skills on Aptitude (written test), Test for psychometric evaluation, Test for evaluation of primary skills in IT and English Language Skills (written and spoken)
