Here we are giving the complete list of various fellowships in India . These fellowships in India may be provided by both the government and the private organizations. While most of the scholarships in India are meant for Indian students, some institutes also offer fellowships to foreign scholars.
Award Value Payment :
The eligible candidates are given a monthly grant of Rs.4,000/- as traveling allowance. The Rajiv Gandhi Science Talent Research Fellows are offers an extra grant of Rs.1000/- for buy of study material.
Eligibility :
For Fellowships in Science, students in the former, next or third year of their graduation courses in Veterinary Science, Science, Pharmacy and Medicine are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Applicants in either the 1st or 2nd year of their post graduation courses are also eligible For Fellowships in Engineering, students in the 2nd and 3rd year of their B.E or B.Tech courses are entitled to apply for the fellowships. Successful candidates are permitted to work on a research plan supervised by faculties selected by the JNCASR. A total of about 100 Fellowships are distributed, out of which 15 top students are named as Rajiv Gandhi Science Talent Research Fellows. The rating is done on the basis of the project reports.
