Larsen & Toubro Build India Scholarships

Larsen and Toubro, known as L & T in the corporate world, is a giant in the engineering and construction sector of India. L & T also has business participants in electronics and information technology.

Larsen and Toubro has been the undisputed leader in its area of expertise since the last 60 years. Engineering Construction & Contracts Division of L&T (ECC) is one of the biggest of its kind in India. It has made significant contributions in building India's skyline for the future.

It awards L & T Build India Scholarships to meritorious students in the field of engineering and technological education. L & T Build India Scholarships Schemes are for those students who wish to get MTech in Construction Technology and Management from either IIT Delhi or IIT Madras for a period of two years.

Eligibility and other Details of L & T Build India Scholarships

The candidates applying for L & T Build India Scholarships should not be of more than 23 years. They should have at least 65% marks as a total in either Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed University or Institute. They should be the minimum height of 160 cm and the weight of the candidates should be at least 50 kg.

The candidates have to appear at the written test conducted by IIT for pursuing MTech. The candidates are given Rs. 7, 000 per month for the entire course. After completing of the course, the candidates have to join L & T for some time.

Applications for the L & T Build India Scholarships are called for through notifications published in leading newspaper and the website of IIT Delhi and IIT Madras. The applications, duly completed, should be sent to Personnel & Organization Development Department, Larsen & Toubro Limited, ECC Division within ten days of advertisement.
