Inlaks Foundation Music Awards

Inlaks Foundation is one of such foundations which have been involved in finding out meritorious students and supporting them in various areas of study such as humanities, sciences, social science, fashion design, visual arts, music and sports. Inlaks Foundation grants scholarships for outstanding students for higher studies in India and abroad. Inlaks Foundation has introduced Inlaks Foundation Music Awards to support young artists within the country.

Inlaks Foundation Award is of Rs.8000/- per month for the period of one year which is paid quarterly. The continuation of this Award depends on the quarterly progress report provided by the candidate and the Guru/Guide/Head of Institution under whom applicant intends to work for a year. The number of Awards varies 2 to 3, depending on the merit of the applications received.

The selection procedure will take place in two rounds. The written application and reference letters will be the major criterion for the first round. The short-listed candidates will then be expected to appear in front of the selection committee for an audition for the final selection.

Eligibility for Inlaks Foundation Music Awards

The candidates should be a recent graduate/post-graduate from a leading Indian institute for theatre arts in India. Candidates not having a formal degree but possessing a record of high quality record of past achievements may be considered in exceptional circumstances. The candidates should not be a holder of a similar/government scholarship or award during the tenure of Inlaks Foundation Music Awards. He/She should not be more than the age of 30 years on 15th September in the year of application

Details application for Inlaks Foundation Music Awards

The candidates should send the details like name, educational qualifications, contact address, permanent address, and evidence of date of birth. They should also write a brief essay providing details of present occupation and achievement to date (Not more than 300 words) and an essay for the need for the award and what do you propose to do with award money. (Not more than 300 words). They should also attach three reference letters of theatre persons who can vouch for the applicant.
