The company awards 450 Scholarships for bright students across India, under the Indian Oil Scholarships Scheme. The Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarships are intended to accommodate to the needs of students in various areas, ranging from 10+ / ITI, Engineering to MBBS and MBA.

All Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarships are provided firmly on a merit-cum-means basis, with some particular encouragement being given to girl students, physically challenged students and students from J&K and the Northeast States as part of Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarship scheme.

Details of Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarships

Indian Oil Corporation Limited awards 450Scholarships under the following heads:

• 250 scholarships are awarded for 10+/ ITI students on a zonal basis @ Rs. 1000/- per month for two years. For students with 65% marks in the 10th exam.
• 100 scholarships are offered for engineering students @ Rs. 2000/- per month for four years. For students with 65% marks in the 12th exam.
• 40 scholarships are awarded for MBBS students @ Rs. 2000/- per month for four years. For students with 65% marks in the 10th exam.
• 60 scholarships are offered for MBA students @ Rs. 2000/- per month for two years. For students with 65% marks in graduation.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarships are provided to those students whose family income is not more than Rs. 1,00,000 per anum and whose admission has been confirmed in that course of study.

Reservation and Age Limit for Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarships

The applicants to the Indian Oil Corporation Limited Scholarships should be of 15 years and not more than of 30 years. There is age relaxation for reserve category candidates. OBC has 3 years, SC/ST 5 years and physically challenged / physically handicapped 10 years. 50% of the scholarships are reserved for SC/ST & OBC candidates. In each category, 25% of scholarships are reserved for girl students and 10% for physically challenged / physically handicapped students. Only those listed in the central government's OBC list will be considered against OBC quota.
