Biology Scholarships from the Department of Biotechnology

The Department of Biotechnology, a part of the human resource development program of the Department offers Biology Scholarships. Biology Scholarships are awarded for the successful teaching, training and implementation of fellowship courses.

The Department of Biotechnology has also obtained a reputation for itself through its many scholarships and the initiative taken by it to felicitate scientists from abroad. The different biology scholarship schemes undertaken by the Department of Biotechnology aims to extend the quality of human resource at the post-graduate doctoral and postdoctoral level in the fields of biotechnology, biology, biomedical and neurological sciences.

Eligibility and other Details of Biology Scholarships Scheme India

The candidates should have a very percentage of marks in biology in CBSE for financial grants awarded by the biotechnology department under the biology scholarship scheme to inspire the students to pursue studies in biology and other related fields of bioscience. The candidates are awarded a gold medal along with cash prize of Rs. 15,000 and a merit certificate.
