Medical Entrance Exam in Jammu and Kashmir

JKCET Entrance Examination is very competitive examination in Jammu & Kashmir conducted by the board of Professional Entrance examinations (BPEE) in Jammu and Kashmir State by an Act of the State Legislative. This board is controlled by the government of Jammu and Kashmir. Students can get the admission in undergraduate courses like medical, engineering and dental courses depending upon the scores of JKCET in Jammu & Kashmir.

In Jammu & Kashmir, after qualifying the entrance examination, you can get the admission in medical courses of your choices and interests. This entrance examination is held in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This entrance examination is popularly known as BPEE CET entrance examination conducted for the admission in various medical courses. CET entrance exam 2011 Jammu and Kashmir will be conducted on the 1st week of July 2011 by which you can get the admission in medical courses.

Eligibility :

The candidates should have passed 12th examination with Chemistry, Physics and Biology and English with 50% marks from the recognized board. The final year students can also appear in the entrance examination. The candidates should have minimum 17 years of age and they have to fulfill all the requirements for applying the entrance examination of medical study. The candidate should be resident of the Jammu & Kashmir.

Medical courses are offered :

Bachelor of Medical MBBS, BVSC, Animal Husbandry, BUMS and BAMS courses, Bachelor of Dental BDS, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Agriculture B.Sc Agriculture and B.Sc Forestry.
