The Jawaharlal Nehru University is barely thirty years old inspired by ideals and values that make it stand out as an exceptionally different place of learning. It is a learning place which cherishes ideas as field of adventure, experimentation and respect for diversity of opinions.

When formed, the university sought to revolutionize the traditional disciples were formulated with fresh perspectives in the Indian university system.
