Indira Gandhi national Open University is the world's largest university offering 338 more than courses in various disciplines to the 1.8 million students of India. Eligibility for admission: -
The candidates should have passed three year degree and graduation with 50 % marks and 45% for (SC/ST) in any stream, those candidates can appear for OPENMAT entrance examination. The candidates should have three years experience in managerial, professional or supervisory, can appear for the entrance examination-Open mat.
OR
Professional Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine / Architecture / Law / Pharmacy.
Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/Cost and Works Accountancy/Company Secretaryship
A Masters Degree in any subject.
Structure and Syllabus of IGNOU OPENMAT
The duration of IGNOU OPENMAT is 180 minutes. It holds 200 objective type questions.
- English Language-50 questions
- General Awareness-30 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude-50 questions
- Reasoning-70 questions
Important dates of entrance examination of the university
Date of First Entrance Exam is by end of February, 2012
Application forms will be available by October beginning, 2011/2012
Final date of submission of application form by middle of December, 2011/2012
Date of second Entrance Exam is by middle of August, 2012
Application forms can be purchased from beginning of March, 2012
Final Date of reception of complete application form is by last week of May, 2012
