National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test

National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are very popular for Technical education and fully governed by Government of India. The syllabus of MCA program of NITs is designed to meet the need of different Software Houses in India and abroad. The NIMCET is a National Level Entrance Test for admission to their MCA Program.

Application Form :

Candidates can download the Application Form. After completing the form, send it to the Admissions Officer along with a demand draft. The form can also be obtained from the counter or by the post. The filled KEE MCA Entrance application forms should be sent by post to the institute office.

NIMCET Eligibility :

The candidate should have obtained 60% marks or equivalent in the +2 and graduation level exams. He/she should have a Bachelor Degree with any one of the subjects: Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Business Statistics, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics and Elementary Statistics.

NIMCET Exam Pattern :

The test paper will be of 120 multiple choice questions. It will cover Mathematics for 40 questions, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning for 55 questions, Computer Awareness for 10 questions and General English for 15 questions. The candidate will get four marks for every right answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong response.
