Joint Admission Test - JAM is conducted for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Sciences (M.Sc) in various IITs across the country. Indian Institutes of Technology have started conducting the JAM from the Academic Session 2004 - 2005.
Application Form for MCA :
Candidates may download the Application Form. After completing the form, send it to the Admissions Officer along with a required amount of demand draft. The form can also be obtained from the counter or by the post. The filled IIT JAM application forms should be sent by post to the institute office. The form can be filled online.
Eligibility for MCA :
Candidates who have a Bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject for at least one year for annual system or at least two papers of Mathematics for semester system are eligible for the Entrance Test.
IIT JAM Computer Applications Syllabus :
The IIT JAM questions for Computer Applications Test will be fully objective type. The test papers will have to be answered in an Objective Response Sheet by darkening appropriate bubbles using black HB pencil. The Test paper will cover the areas of Mathematics, Computer awareness, Analytical Ability and General Awareness and they will be in the ration 4:2:1
