Institute of Management Development and Research - IMDR

MDR has pioneered management education in Pune. It was the first management institute to be set up in Pune and has been conducting its courses since the year 1977. IMDR (Institute Of Management Development and Research ) conducts an admission process for admission to its two year Post Graduate Diploma in Management Program. As a major part of Deccan Education Society, IMDR was established by stalwarts of Indian freedom battle to distributed the education in all sections of Indian society. In keeping with the traditions of DE Society, IMDR focuses on academic values at reasonable fees.

Eligibility :

A candidate should have a 3 years bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognized institute with atleast 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Selection Process :

About 300 candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores. The shortlisted candidates are then called for Personal Interview and General Discussion. Final selection is based on a number of factors including Personal Interview, GD, Past Academic Record, Work Experience and Extra curricular activities.

Since the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT scores candidates have to appear for CAT. Candidates also have to apply online through the wesbsite imdr.edu. Forms are also available at selected MBA coaching centers.
