From 2020, AIEEE has scrapped and replaced by JEE Main and will be organized by CBSE.
Eligibility for JEE Main:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with 50% marks. They should have read mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Final year candidates of 10+2 may also appear in JEE Main. Candidates who have already appeared three times or more will be permitted to appear in JEE Main 2020 as a last chance has laid down a Three - Exam Scheme (JEE Main at the National Level and the State Level Engineering Entrance Examinations (SLEEE) for State Level Institutions. It takes care of various admission standards in these programs and helps in maintenance of professional standards. It also reduces physical, mental and financial burden of students and their parents due to its multiplicity of entrance examinations.
